Today’s post is full of pictures I snapped on my phone throughout our trip. Sometimes I prefer to snap a quick pic (or selfie) and mostly all of these pictures were posted on my Instagram account. I think the photos sum up our trip well: a road trip exploring Minneapolis and St. Paul filled with food and love for our new favorite city in the Midwest.
We dressed as twins for the start of our trip to Minnesota- Minnesota Twins- get it?! ;) And the Pens played the Minnesota Wild on Thursday when we left but in Pittsburgh.
Northbound Smokehouse Brewpub where I had the best wild rice burger ever (not that I have any other to compare it with as of now).
Minnehaha Falls at Minnehaha Regional Park.
Umbrellas hanging from the ceiling at Calhoun Square mall in Uptown- Uptown is where we stayed.
Brasa Rotisserie for lunch after touring the Mill City Museum.
Walking along the Stone Arch Bridge over the Mississippi River with the remains of the Washburn “A” Mill to the left.
The Minnehaha house seen on Rehab Addict.
Apple Kernza (Kernza is a grain) pancakes at Birchwood Cafe with pomegranates, marscapone, and apples.
A mural seen on West Lake Street in Uptown.
A panoramic view of the VRBO apartment we stayed at in Uptown, MN. This apartment was Awesome. We liked it much better than the place we stayed in Folly Beach, SC and we would stay here in again.
Until next time Minneapolis, we miss you already!
