This week’s kitchen adventure was Everything Bagels! Oh my-lanta are these bagels good!
The scale of difficulty for these bagels is harder than making a quick bread but easier than making challah bread. That might be a wide spectrum of comparison but honestly, they aren’t hard to make. The dough comes together very easily and I would say the longest part is waiting for the large pot to boil for the water bath. These ones are traditional New York style meaning they are dipping in boiling water first for 2 minutes and then baked. I love the flavor of everything bagels- garlic, salt, sesame seeds and this mixture is fantastic.
I’m excited to try more types of bagels in the near future and plan to make bagels at home much more often! Have a great Friday!
The recipe I used was from Sally’s Baking Addiction.
