Friday's Fab Five

Friday’s Fab Five

Hi there! Happy Friday!

Are you ready for the weekend? Do you have any big plans?

Mike and I will be relaxing the entire weekend, we are so ready to sleep in and just sit around and hang out. What do you think, good plan? I think so!

We’ve been in a bit of a food funk lately and want to try some new recipes but nothing sparks our interest. I know there are plenty of new things to try though, do you have any suggestions? I would love to hear them, anything delicious you’ve tried from pinterest? The majority of my pins on pinterest are breakfast or sweets which doesn’t help when we’re trying to decide what’s for dinner. :(

But my pins inspired me to share the top 5 recipes I have been wanting to try and I hope to make at least ONE of them this weekend. :) Enjoy!

#5 Lemon and Blueberry Cupcakes
I actually wanted to make these when we had family visiting last weekend but never really felt like I had the time. So maybe next time they come visit I’ll make them (after I try them once on my own).

#4 Garlic Parmesan Bagel Chips
Do you love the little rye chips in chex mix? I do and these chips would be very similar and the list of ingredients is super simple.

#3 Biscoff No Bake Cookies
I’ve never had biscoff before but hear it’s delicious. Plus these are no bake cookies which is perfect to try in the summer.

#2 Homemade Cinnamon Bread
Since I received my Kitchen Aid mixer I’ve made a few breads but one I’ve really wanted to try making at home is Cinnamon Raisin Bread. I love this bread. I would toast it when I was kid and add some butter and be set! Yum! This recipe is without raisins but I will add them when I try it.

#1 IGE’s Sangria
So Iowa Girl Eats posted a Best Ever Sangria on her blog this week which was a Way Back Wednesday post. I’ve been wanting to try this recipe for a long time, it’s been pinned to my board for what seems like forever. If I make a pitcher will you come over and help me drink it? It’s probably best if I don’t drink the whole pitcher myself because I will. ;)
