Previously I mentioned I wanted to give Gimme Some Oven’s Skinny Fettuccine Alfredo a try and this week I made it for dinner. Well, it was a hit! Mike loved it and I couldn’t believe how creamy and rich it was despite being a skinny recipe. It certainly is healthier but I love how you don’t have to sacrifice great taste for less calories. I highly recommend it!
I’m excited to watch the Super Bowl this weekend and eat delicious food. Even though my team isn’t playing Sunday, I enjoy watching the game and the commercials. I think this one of the few times (or only) where people turn on the TV to watch the commercials specifically. Who are you rooting for this weekend? I’m pretty impartial but leaning towards the Broncos side. :)
Have a great weekend!
#4 Soft Pretzel Bites
Mike and I are making these pretzel bites Sunday and I’m excited to try them! They look delicious! And I’m even letting Mike make beer cheese dip to go with them.
#3 Sprinkles Cupcakes
I loved these cupcakes from the bakery in Chicago! Next time I think I will try a less traditional flavor, the dark chocolate was good- don’t get me wrong- but I’m thinking of an original flavor for the bakery. Looks like we’ll have to make a trip back, oh darn!
#2 Margarita Jello Shot
I don’t normally drink margaritas- hardly ever- but these jello shots are so cute! They look so great I may consider trying them!
#1 Superbowl Food Snackadium
I guess I’m all about food this weekend but hey that’s not a bad thing, right? Check out this food snackadium that The Kitchen created last weekend on the Food Network.
I’ve never seen these before but they’re pretty cool. You just have to build a strong architecture or else it looks like a pile of mush. Here are 16 of the Most Awesome/Disgusting Food Stadiums.
