I hope you’ve enjoyed the first week of Fall! It’s so great to say it’s fall and I want to take full advantage of it. Fall seems to go by really fast and before you know it, it’s winter. I love how it’s cool at night but not too cool and warm during the day but not hot. This weekend Mike and I are making sure to hit the Farmer’s Market before it’s gone for winter and just enjoy the weather. Very rarely do we have a weekend where we can relax but this weekend is one of them and I’m so excited! I hope y’all have a great weekend!
#10 Atlas Genius
This week Mike and I saw Atlas Genius live in concert for the second time. The first time was at Summerfest last year in Columbus but this time Atlas Genius was the main event which was awesome! I loved their show and they played some great songs in addition to the ones I already knew. If you’ve never heard of them please do check them out!
#9 Fall Craft
I love this craft for fall! How cool are they?
#8 Red’s Apple Ale
I finally tried a Red’s Apple Ale last weekend and I loved it! I wasn’t sure if I would like it, thinking it would be too much like Smirnoff but it’s great, not too heavy and not too much apple flavor.

#6 Cider Pork Chops with Sweet Potatoes and Apples
This week I tried a new recipe from Curtis Stone’s What’s For Dinner cookbook and it was delicious! It’s a great fall recipe since apples and apple cider are in season plus is it’s quick and simple.
My birthday is in November and my mom has already asked what I want for my birthday. At first I was like I have no idea and then I realized a good pair of winter boots would be really nice. I started looking for a pair before moving to Wisconsin but never committed to one. I have narrowed it down to two: Sorel Joan of Arc and Sorel Trivoli High. Which one do you like best? Any other brands I should check out?
#4 Chevron Shirt
Last weekend I bought this Chevron shirt at Francesca’s and I love it! I don’t have a lot of print in my wardrobe and this is a great addition. It pairs really well with mint jeans too. This one isn’t the one I bought but it’s very similar and just as cute!
#3 Kindle Paperwhite
So I have the regular, standard kindle and I love it, don’t get me wrong, but the new paperwhite looks awesome! My friend has one and after seeing it in person, I really want one! I love how you can adjust the light because sometimes it’s not bright enough to read with a lamp but you can dim it in the sunlight and still read.
This week I tried my second Pilates studio in Milwaukee and I loved it! The instructor was great and really made sure to push me to work harder. I try to challenge myself on my own but that’s I love going to exercise classes because the instructor pushes you. And the studio, East Side Pilates, was named the #1 studio in Milwaukee last year.
#1 Pumpkin Cream Cheese Swirled Bread
Now that it’s pumpkin season, I want to make pumpkin everything! This recipe for pumpkin cream cheese swirl bread is next on my list because face it, you can’t have the pumpkin without the cream cheese.
