Friday’s Top Ten, 3.29.13

Happy Friday all!

Word of advice when switching banks and setting up bills: have the correct routing number! I don’t know how I had the wrong one but I started switching things with the wrong one which has created chaos but I think I fixed everything! Phew! I hope I don’t switch banks for another ten years! And I hope our move to Wisconsin is a lot easier than switching banks, haha.

This week my mind was on board for thinking Thursday was Friday, on Monday I was like ‘today is my Tuesday’ which was cool until I realized the shows I enjoy Friday nights weren’t on last night. But now it’s Friday and I have a 3 day weekend!

Last night I had a delicious dinner, strawberry pecan salad and sweet potato wedges, yummy! It was so good that I’m going to eat it for lunch today! I’ll share the details with you later. :) Also I made Two Peas and Their Pod’s Coconut Macaroon Nutella Nests that I shared on a recent Friday’s Top Ten. They are really good and so cute!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend and here is Friday’s Top Ten!

#10: 50 Things to Grill in Foil

It’s officially Spring which means grilling season is almost here! Well for some it never left but here are 50 Things to Grill in Foil to get you ready for the season!

#9: Corgi Madness!

It’s Spring Break so be sure to look out for all the corgis!!

#8 DIY Cake Stand

This weekend I’m going to make Alton Brown’s carrot cake and unfortunately we do not have a beautiful cake stand to display it. I think this DIY cake stand would be perfect!

#7: Homemade Reese Eggs

One of the things I love about the Easter holiday are the wonderful chocolate peanut butter Reese Eggs! They are delicious! I found Brown Eyed Baker has created a homemade recipe and I would love to try it sometime!

#6: Mushroom Spinach Pappardelle

The new recipe I would like to try next week is Mushroom Spinach Pappardelle. I love the pasta because it looks like ribbons! I hate mushrooms so I’ll sub out the mushrooms for prosciutto.

#5: DIY Succulent Gardens

How cute are these gardens? I love having plants and flowers in the apartment and you can make these beautiful babies yourself! I think Mike and I will need to have these this summer.

#4: Spring Look Book

I love these outfits for Spring, especially the one all the way on the right! What a classy and stylish look! I would totally rock that one!

#3: Night Watch, Linda Fairstein

Linda Fairstein is one of my favorite authors and I love all of her books! I just finished Night Watch which is part of the Alexandra Cooper series. If you like Law and Order SVU then you would like the Cooper series. Alex Cooper is a DA for New York and investigates sex crimes for the city. This was one of those books that I couldn’t put down until I finished.

#2: Real World Then and Now

Real World starts its 28th season this week and I can’t believe they are on #28! I feel old! My favorite season was the one in New Orleans with Julie, who is Mormon, and Matt. If you’d like to see where the Real World stars are now you can check it out here.

#1: Awkward Easter Bunny Photo

I don’t remember any photos with the Easter bunny but I do have to say the Easter bunny is way more creepy than Santa Claus. This one reminds of the bunny from Donnie Darko and I can understand why any kid wouldn’t want their picture with him!

Happy Easter Weekend!
